Essential Bottle Filter vs. Advanced Bottle Filter

The included Essential Bottle Filter should be replaced every 25 gallons/94 liters or 2 months.

It is recommended for basic protection and improved taste. It protects against chlorine, PFAS (PFOA/PFOS), pharmaceuticals and more.

If you are using the Advanced Bottle Filter, replace it every 40 gallons/151 liters or 2 months.

It is recommended for 360 protection against harsh contaminants and improved taste. It protects against chlorine, PFAS (PFOA/PFOS), lead, HAA5, pharmaceuticals and more.

The Advanced Bottle Filter has slightly more resistance when drinking due to the level of contaminant removal - like drinking a smoothie or a milkshake. The Advanced Filter is recommended for tap water containing lead and other harmful contaminants.
